Short version: there is no account, we set no cookies of our own, and nothing you do inside the game is sent anywhere.

What stays on your device

One localStorage entry called cashout.v1 holds your best score, your achievements, your daily streak and your settings. It contains no identifier of any kind — there is nothing in it that could be used to recognise you. Clearing your browser storage deletes it and the game keeps working.

Game state, your actions and the replay log never leave the page. The share card is drawn in your browser; it is only shared if you press the share button yourself.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tag that honours Do Not Track. It records six fixed event names — work_started and game_started when a run begins, quarter_closed during play, work_completed and run_ended when a run finishes, and card_shared when the share control is used — plus the page address. It attaches no properties at all, so no score, outcome, quarter or setting is ever transmitted. It creates no cookie, no local-storage value and no device fingerprint.

Advertising

This site is free and is funded by advertising on the pages around the game — never inside it. When advertising is active, Google AdSense may set its own cookies and process data under its own policies, and visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent through a Google-certified consent tool before any advertising script runs.
